The Kowloon, a pagoda-shaped building, is guarded by a 15-foot Tiki carving. Inside is a lagoon, a room composed entirely of half of a schooner and lots of Tikis, or carvings made by a Pacific Islander. "There are thousands of islands in the Pacific, so there are thousands of styles and reasons for a Tiki," says Teitelbaum. "Some were tributes.
